1. What types of businesses are a good fit for Flexxbuy?
Flexxbuy works best for businesses that sell high-ticket services or products—typically $1,000 or more—and want to make their offerings more affordable for customers.
Ideal industries include coaching and consulting, education and training, home improvement, healthcare and dental, automotive, travel, and tax or debt resolution. But we can work with any business type with the exception of those that sell weapons. Basically, if a business sells something valuable that people want but can’t always pay for upfront, Flexxbuy is a great fit.
2. What are common reasons businesses choose Flexxbuy?
Businesses choose Flexxbuy because it helps them close more sales without lowering prices or offering in-house payment plans.

3. How much can I earn per referral?
Partners earn both up-front and recurring commissions.
Flexxbuy typically pays a flat amount for each new enrolled merchant (for example, $200 per new account) plus 40% of Flexxbuy’s ongoing revenue from that merchant for the lifetime of the account.
4. When and how are commissions paid?
Commissions are paid through Bill.com on a regular schedule—typically once per month. You’ll receive an email notification from Bill.com when a payment is sent.
Commissions are processed by the 14th of each month for the previous month’s transactions. The monthly cutoff date is the 20th.
5. How long has Flexxbuy been in business?
Flexxbuy was founded in 2014 and has been helping businesses offer customer financing for over a decade. With thousands of merchants and referral partners nationwide, it’s one of the most established platforms in the alternative financing space.
6. Is there a minimum payout threshold?
Yes. Partners typically need to accumulate at least $50–$100 in earned commissions before a payout is issued. Any unpaid balance automatically rolls over to the next pay cycle.
7. Can I promote Flexxbuy on my website or social media?
Absolutely. Partners are encouraged to share their Flexxbuy referral links on their websites, emails, newsletters, and social media channels.
You can promote using any approved materials from the Partner Resource Center or create your own, as long as they accurately represent Flexxbuy’s products and follow brand guidelines. If you’re unsure about a campaign or ad, the partner team can review it before you post.
8. How does Flexxbuy track my referrals?
Flexxbuy tracks referrals using a unique referral code or link assigned to each partner. When someone clicks your link or visits any Flexxbuy page containing your code (for example, ?ref=1234), a six-month tracking cookie is placed in their browser.
If that visitor completes a form or signs up for an account during that time, the system automatically attributes the lead or enrollment to you. Partners can also manually register leads through the partner portal to ensure no referral is missed.
9. How long does a cookie last on a referral link?
Referral cookies last for six months from the first time a prospect visits any Flexxbuy page using your link or code. Each time the visitor returns to the site, the cookie resets—so you continue to receive credit for any forms, signups, or enrollments made during that six-month period.
10. Can I customize materials with my logo or contact info?
Yes. Most Flexxbuy flyers, PDFs, and proposal templates can be customized to include your logo, contact details, and referral link. You can request editable versions from the Partner Resource Center or email the partner support team for help with branded versions.
11. Can I refer businesses outside the U.S.?
Flexxbuy can work with companies based anywhere in the world. However, the lenders on our platform can only approve applicants based in the US and Canada, so they will need to have American or Canadian customers to qualify.
12. What happens if a business I referred cancels?
If a referred merchant cancels their Flexxbuy account, you’ll keep any commissions you’ve already earned for prior activity. Future recurring commissions tied to that merchant will stop once the account is deactivated or removed from billing.
13. Can I recruit other agents under me?
Yes, you can refer another agent and earn a 10% override on their residuals only. We ask that if you refer another agent, please be selective with your recommendations.
