💳 How to Connect Your Existing Credit Card Processor

Already have a credit card processing provider? Great — you can connect it directly to Byzly in just a few minutes.  This guide walks you through how to link your existing processor or add a backup option for more reliability.

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

  • An active merchant account with your payment provider

  • Your provider’s API credentials (Merchant ID, Client ID, API Key, etc.)

  • Access to your Byzly Payment Hub

If you don’t have a provider yet — or if you’d like to add a backup — you can apply directly through Byzly. Just email info@byzly.com.


Step-by-Step: Connecting an Existing Processor

1. Open the Payment Hub

Log in to your Byzly dashboard and select Payment Hub.

2. Open the Catalog

Click Catalog to view the list of available providers.

3. Search for Your Provider

Look under the Card section of the catalog and search for your payment provider.

💡 Tip: If your provider isn’t listed, most can be connected through Authorize.net or NMI as a gateway.

4. Contact Your Provider (If Needed)

If you’re unsure which gateway your provider supports, contact them and ask,

“Which gateway do you recommend integrating with — Authorize.net or NMI?”

5. Enter Your Credentials

Click on the provider or gateway, then enter your API credentials (or contact your provider for them if needed).
Byzly encrypts and stores all credentials securely.

6. Activate the Connection

Toggle the Active switch to enable the provider.
Once activated, your processor will appear in your Payment Hub and be ready to handle transactions.

Adding a Backup Processor

Want to add redundancy in case of downtime or processing limits?
You can maintain multiple active connections and toggle between them as needed.
Simply follow the same steps to add a secondary provider.


Troubleshooting Tips

  • If transactions fail, double-check that the API keys match your production environment.

  • Ensure your provider account is active and in good standing.

  • Some gateways require specific currency settings — confirm these in both your provider dashboard and Byzly.
